I spoke to sally Duback in the Marshall art building, and began asking her various questions.
She has been an artist since she was three and had always known that, that was what she was going to be doing for the rest of her life, it is after all, a part of who she is. Although, she did go to college as an English major, several years later, she attended an art school which led her back to who she was, an artist.
I also asked about her use of colors and favorites, and she said that it depended whether it was a print or a painting or anything else. She liked all sorts of colors and used them accordingly. Also mentioning the tedious process that it was to make a print. The meanings behind her art are about conservation and human rights/issues.
I asked how long it took to complete an art work and she said that for print, it took months, drawing would take hours and painting would be a week.
